hey everyone.

another fairly quiet month for me. i did go to a local con last weekend and had a pretty good time.

the main thing i did in april was a visual overhaul on my neocities site as well as adding a page for my webcomics. i got all my old ones up and i have some new ones planned but i wasn't able to get any made this month unfortunately.

i was also able to actually get a fair bit of drawing done this month but it was all personal stuff for friends and family that i can't really share for the most part.

happy easter to those that celebrate!

unfortunately i wasn't able to make anything i could share this month and i had to take a little break for my own well-being. i do think that break was a good idea because i finally feel like i have a little more energy to do stuff next month! i do have a couple ideas but main thing i want to do is move my web-comics from tumblr to my neocities site and hopefully make some more comics! i'll still try to get out some art i can post here but my site will be my main focus in april.

hey i was meaning to get this post out a few days ago but i got distracted, sorry!

i've still mostly been doing little doodles and studies as well as personal drawings. but i did manage to get an illustration out in february.

as for other projects, me and a friend are working on a game together! keeping it to ourselves for now but i'll talk to it about sharing updates on the project publicly sometime in march.

thinking i'll do monthly little blog posts here.

not much happened in january for me. worked on some stuff, did some studies, the usual. played undertale yellow a few times (pretty good btw, try it out if you want more undertale content)

i also did quite a bit of drawing this month, not really stuff i can share though. mainly studies and little doodles.

i did make one finished drawing but i don't really think it's the kinda thing i'd post over here.

as for future plans.

i am hoping to pick back up an old game idea i had a while ago.

will it actually get anywhere? idk, probably not. but if it does i'll be sure to share updates on it here!

also hoping to do some more finished drawings next month but i'm trying not to stress out too much about it.

sorry i haven't been that active in online spaces like here or discord

i didn't get much done in '23, it's been a pretty sleepy year for me overall

mainly i've been taking care of myself and trying not to burn out too hard but i was able to do some stuff

i actually did a lot of drawings, just not a lot i can share (studies, doodles, personal stuff, ect.)

i meet some cool people (technically happened late last year but i mainly got to know them this year)

i started posting web comics on tumblr, just little jokey comic strips but i do have some bigger projects planned. might post those projects here too if they ever get done

worked on some writing

did planning for stuff

experimented with some art stuff

did more physical paintings after a while of not doing them

made a neocities site and have been messing around with that

a lot of experimentation and trying to ward off art block and a lot of just messing around trying new things

i wasn't sure where things were going with me and my life for a while but things have been looking up i think

i think i kinda stretched myself to thin trying to do a bunch of stuff at once and kinda burnt out

still feel pretty burnt if i'm being honest but i gotta get back to it sooner or later

didn't really do much while i was gone

i tried streaming for a while, but mainly i focused on life stuff, art studies, and some writing.

so yeah, i'm back i guess.

i changed art software recently so i thought it was a good time to update my comm info, the cell shaded option is no longer available as i couldn't get a result i was satisfied with. i did add a cheaper sketch option
